did a lot of tracing exercises in the beginning since it's a beginners class. But now we finally got to do some spot illustrations! I decided to do some deer.

we just finished our first project. it was to create a rolling stones review portrait of a musician. I did the jackson 5!
PORTRAITURE
this class wasn't what I thought it was going to be at all. I was pretty intimidated at the idea of only oil painting models in 2 days or so each piece! But so far it has been surprisingly nice and I think I'm improving in oil painting?? hopefully..

uhh most of it is tiny master copies and this one landscape painting I did all in palette knife. eh.. I feel like I wasted so much oil paint to do it.
the last class is figure but everything has been really rough work
