She told me to draw in the style of One Piece (Eiichiro Oda).
The whole point is I have to imitate his style as much as I can!

Oh and the Japanese text was me imitating the One Piece mangas with how for sound effects they had the japanese words so I googled it.. and I just googled it again to find the site I used & can't find it!! Anyways the second panel is supposed to mean either silence or sudden movement (don't remember which I used) and the 3rd is cracking sounds haha it can be completely wrong tho since the site I used looked shady.
Sweet Lime isn't japanese, she's an alien :D

ReplyDeleteIt came out really awesome! I mean, you're right, it's not a lot like One Piece but there are similarities. Like the noodle-arms and cross hatching and single-tone shading.
But... were this One Piece, Sweet Lime would have water-melon boobies, a small waist, and ginormous hips... lmao
Also, I don't think there's enough detailed environment to be considered One Piece style since that crazy man Oda always adds a bunch of background details.
BUT IT'S STILL AWESOME AS AN AMY STYLE. LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Just imagine me being like "alright super insane detailed environments *10 minutes later* forget this, I'm making it all BLACK" it wasn't easy :| I want to try again tho because his environments are really incredible. this was fun!
